Three beaches are labeled HANDIPLAGE to Hossegor :

  • South Beach : access ramp, plates PMR, tent available on request, 2 toilets PMR, 7 parking spaces, 2 armchairs, amphibious, in the water, accompanied depending on the conditions. 05 58 43 53 58

Most of the parts of the path around the lake of Hossegor are wheelchair accessible, with passages of broadly stabilised and developed, especially near the beaches and hotspots. On the other hand, some sections are more difficult, with sand or soil more furniture that can complicate the progression, especially in a manual wheelchair.

Overall, the ride is rather accessible, with some portions at least passable depending on the type of chair and the terms and conditions.

The bus Yégo and line 517 are accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM), in the limit of a wheelchair vehicle.
