The Quiksilver Festival is part of a long history of surfing competitions that have shaped the international reputation of Hossegor. , Thanks to its sandy beaches, its sandbanks and powerful the influence of the Gouf de Capbreton, Hossegor is now, at the end of the XXᵉ century, one of the spots of the most spectacular in the world for the competition.

The festival is not limited to the competition. It also highlights thehistory of surfing in Hossegor the meeting with the athletes, the music, the animations, and user friendly, making the link between the glorious past of the world championships and the living present of the surf scene.

How to park to go to the beach?
During the Quiksilver Festival in Hossegor, the soft mobility are strongly encouraged to have access to different spots in the competition, divided between Seignosse and Capbreton.
The spectators move mainly by bicycle and on foot thanks to the many bike trails that run along the coastline and connect the beaches, or bus Yégo. The car parks are rapidly saturated for the event, these methods of travel can be reached more easily beaches (Gravel pit, North beach, Estagnots) while avoiding the traffic jams.
