The World Ocean Series – Hossegor Classic is theone of the major international events of the rescue athlete coastal. Each year, the best athletes in the european and international level are found to Hossegor tocompete in the emblematic disciplines of surf lifesaving on the waves of the landes coast.
Held on theone of the most famous beaches of the atlantic coast, the French leg of the Shaw and Partners World Ocean Series is competing experts in the Surf Race, the Board Race, the Ski Race and theOceanman/Oceanwoman. These tests demanding combine endurance, technique and mastery of theocean.
Beyond athletic performance, Hossegor Classic values the values of the inshore rescue : commitment, esprit dteam, security in the marine environment and respect for theenvironment.
